Phoenix Street Food Coalition Spices Up the Scottsdale Arts Festival

For the first time, gourmet food trucks from the Phoenix Street Food Coalition will offer delicious locally sourced cuisine at the Scottsdale Arts Festival on March 11-13. These mobile eateries have earned rave reviews for their innovative specialty street foods, which will satisfy the taste buds of demanding foodies of all persuasions, from vegans to carnivores and everyone in between. Among the food trucks will be Beet StrEAT, Hey Joe! Filipino Street Food, Jamburritos Cajun Grille Express, Paradise Melts, Riteway Catering Company, Short Leash Hot Dogs, Sunshine and Spice, Sweet Republic, Tom’s BBQ and Whiskey Ranch Wood-Fired Pizzas.

A variety of fine wines from Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Kobrand Wines & Spirits and Trinchero Family Estates also will be offered at the Scottsdale Arts Festival Wine Garden, sponsored by Republic National Distributing Company. Other beverages available for sale include Skinny Girl Margaritas, Pinnacle Vodka, Sweet Tea Vodka, Deschutes and Full Sail craft beers.

Recently named one of the country’s favorite arts festivals by the readers of AmericanStyle Magazine and “Best Arts Festival”by Phoenix New Times, the award-winning Scottsdale Arts Festival showcases the creativity of 200 of America’s premier artists. Visitors also enjoy live music and entertainment;creative activities for children and families at Imagine Nation and much more.

Last Food Truck Friday of 2010

12/17 is the last day of Food Truck Friday for the year. Some of our vendors will be at the Phoenix Public Market to share their menus with you. So far, we have Short Leash Hot Dogs, Riteway Catering, and Torched Goodness ready to end the year on a high note.

Just for this occasion:

Riteway Catering is featuring a Korean Po’Boy sandwich and a gingerbread dessert with a brown sugar sauce.
Torched Goodness’ special is one dozen creme brulee for $35. That is a savings of $13! To take advantage of the savings, you must pre-order & choose from list of 10 flavors. You can mix and match.
Short Leash Hot Dogs will have a great promotion going on! On December 17th only, they will be awarding gift certificates for free meals to every 25th customer as a thank you to their customers.

UPDATED Date!
Beginning November 5, 2010, the Phoenix Street Food Coalition partners with Phoenix Public Market to put on a lunch time Mobile Food Court. Specialty mobile food vendors of the coalition will be available for lunch service Fridays 11am-1pm. Phoenix Public Market is located at 14 E. Pierce Street in Phoenix.
